An ante is a small forced bet every player at the table posts before cards are dealt, separate from the blinds. It builds the pot faster in tournament formats and appears in some high-stakes cash games.

A Sit & Go launches as soon as the required number of players register, without a fixed start time. It runs until one player holds all the chips, and prize payouts follow a preset percentage split.

Your time bank is extra seconds you can use when you need longer to decide on a fold, call or raise. Once your standard decision clock expires, the time bank activates automatically; when it empties you are auto-folded.

Rake is the small percentage the platform takes from each pot as a service fee. In our Holdem Poker Pro cash games it is capped at five percent, and only pots that reach a minimum size are raked.

Hole cards are the two private cards dealt face-down to you at the start of each hand. Only you see them; your goal is to combine them with the five community cards to make the strongest five-card poker hand.

A multi-table tournament starts at a scheduled time and seats players across many tables. As players are eliminated, tables merge until one final table remains; prize pools are usually larger than Sit & Go events.
